Here in the magnificent Highlands of Scotland with views of fields, hills and glen and looking out to a distant sea view, Birkenshaw is a gorgeous and cosy space with rustic, handmade, vintage and bespoke decor. Our aim is to be as environmentally friendly as we can be and we really hope this shows in every aspect of your stay.

Our beautiful Shepherd’s hut, is the perfect base from which to explore this wonderful corner of the Scottish highlands.
Ethical weaving inspired by nature.

Courses and Experiences
From £75 per person per day, we run personalised courses to help you learn new woolly skills! Peg looming, rigid heddle weaving or spinning introductions. And you don’t need to be staying with us as day courses are also available!
