 Travel by public transport

β€’             There is no public transport , but there is a bus service from Inverness to Dornoch and closest train station is Rogart.

 Travel by taxi

β€’             You can get a taxi with D P Taxi by calling 07375089942.

β€’             Happy to collect from local public service arrival points for a small charge.

 Parking

β€’             We have a car park. Parking is free.

β€’             There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point has a dropped kerb.

β€’             From the parking to the main entrance, there are 5 steps. There is no ramp and no lift.

The paths are log and stone lined and covered with bark chippings, through a woodland. There are tree roots and some uneven areas to negotiate.

β€’             The main door is side hung and manual.

β€’             When you arrive, we can help carry your luggage.

β€’             There is also a single large step into the Sun room and also a single step into the Compost toilet.

β€’             All bedrooms have windows.

β€’             Bedrooms have wall lights and natural daylight.

β€’             All bedrooms are non-smoking.

β€’             We have non-allergic bedding.

β€’             No bedrooms have fitted carpets.

β€’             We have wi-fi free bedrooms, for visitors with electro-sensitivity.

β€’             We always contact guests to ask about any allergies or sensitivities so we are prepared and can accommodate. We can give details of all cleaning/washing products on request.

β€’             We have bathrooms with a separate shower.

β€’             Some showers have a seat.

β€’             Some showers have a handrail.

β€’             The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the front only.

Emergency evacuation procedures

β€’             We have emergency evacuation procedures for disabled visitors.

β€’             Audible fire and carbon monoxide alarms in kitchen and hut.

Customer care support

β€’             Some staff have disability awareness training.

β€’             Staff are available 24 hours a day.
